My favorite part about engagement sessions is getting to know "my" couple (and what they're like - in front of the camera). I love hearing how you met, what made you fall in love, and all of the special moments in between. Harmony & Andrew shared their first kiss at Seattle's Gasworks Park, so it was a perfect place to start off our photo date."And then he kissed me, and I was like (see photo below)" -Harmony, describing she and Andrew's first kiss. I LOVE getting to share moments like that with people in love. It is probably my favorite part (or at least in the top 10) about being a wedding photographer. (I also especially LOVE the vows and toasts on wedding day.) Although I don't live in Seattle anymore, it will probably always be one of my favorite places. When I lived there, I was a first mate and bartender on the Fremont Ave. So, when it drove by during our photos (below), I had to pause for a moment and wave at my favorite boat captain, Larry. (And, by wave, I mean spastically jump up and down, flailing, to make sure he saw me. He did.) :) After we shared stories, picnic'd, and danced at Gasworks, it was time for a snack break, so we stopped by Molly Moon's, where Harmony & Andrew received TONS of congratulations and well-wishes from strangers. Last stop: Pioneer Square, for dressy clothes and date night.
Congratulations, Harmony & Andrew! I can't wait for your wedding day!!!
