As we’re taking pictures by the water: picture, picture, chit chat, picture…Then...I get distracted by something a bit behind Sarah.
OMG there's a ... is it... OMG. OMG. Arms flailing. all of it.
Sarah's like... You see a pelican? (I nod. a lot). And you aren't sure it's a pelican? (Again much nodding). And you haven't ever seen a pelican before? (my head is ready to fall off from profuse agreement at this point). It is! It is a pelican! You are seeing a pelican!!
Obviously, if you ever encounter a situation that includes Sarah and charades, pick her for your team. I’m not good at charades. I have no idea how she deciphered that. But it was the actual best.
